- Onsite 5 days in Charlotte, NC, supporting the accounting leadership team directly
- Interim contract opportunity expected to 4 to 6 months, with potential to convert to a permanent full-time role
- Immediate visibility with senior finance leadership, including direct partnership with the VP of Accounting and CFO

- The position will support month-end close, financial reporting, accounting operations, and day-to-day accounting workflow
- This person will help maintain accuracy, continuity, and responsiveness during a period of team transition
- The role offers the ability to make an immediate impact by strengthening processes, improving visibility, and supporting leadership decision-making
- Progressive accounting and finance experience, ideally within construction, real estate, land development, homebuilding, sitework, or another project-based environment
- Strong QuickBooks experience required, with QuickBooks Enterprise experience especially helpful
- CPA preferred, but not required for the right interim accounting leader
- Experience with multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, AP, AR, billing, bank reconciliations, and cash management
- Comfortable working independently, learning quickly, and jumping into a fast-paced environment with limited ramp-up time
- Strong Excel skills and experience with systems such as Smartsheet, BuildPro, Brixx, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar accounting and project management tools preferred
- Overachiever mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to bring calm, accuracy, and accountability to a changing accounting environment
