WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • This role helps support and improve the technology behind incentive compensation plans across the organization.
  • Serves as a power user and key partner to business and technology teams.
  • Translates business needs into technical requirements and system configuration.
  • Supports automation, data extraction, data transformation, testing, documentation, and issue resolution.
  • Helps ensure the incentive compensation platform is accurate, scalable, compliant, and aligned with business rules.
  • Plays an important role in maintaining data integrity and supporting users across the organization.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Experience supporting, configuring, or improving an incentive compensation management platform such as ICM, Motivator, Varicent, Xactly, Oracle ICM, or a similar system. (Oracle ICM strong preference) 
  • Strong analytical background with the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Experience working with HR, IT, sales operations, finance, compensation, or enterprise business applications.
  • Ability to write logical queries, build complex Excel formulas, and support calculations/reporting.
  • Comfortable performing QA testing, troubleshooting system issues, identifying root causes, and recommending process or system improvements.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical business partners.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and special projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
