LOCATION
- On-site in Charlotte, NC.
- Occasional local travel may be required for career fairs, recruiting events, or employee training.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement practical HR processes, policies, tools, and programs that can scale alongside the organization.
- Manage recruiting across hourly manufacturing, technical, professional, and early-career positions while building long-term talent pipelines.
- Develop onboarding, training, employee development, and performance programs that strengthen workforce readiness and retention.
- Serve as the primary HR partner for employee relations, workplace investigations, coaching, policy interpretation, and employment compliance.
- Own payroll processing through ADP, including timecard review, reconciliation, issue resolution, reporting, and year-end coordination, while supporting international payroll requirements.
- Oversee benefits administration, employee records, compensation support, immigration coordination, workforce reporting, and other daily HR operations.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience within manufacturing, production, industrial, or another workforce-intensive environment.
- Proven success recruiting both skilled hourly employees and professional or technical talent within a growing organization.
- Hands-on ADP payroll experience with responsibility for reviewing time, processing payroll, correcting discrepancies, and preparing reports.
- Experience handling employee relations, investigations, policy development, performance management, benefits, compliance, and workers’ compensation matters.
- A builder mentality with the ability to introduce HR structure, training programs, and scalable processes while remaining involved in day-to-day execution.
