WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage benefits administration activities and serve as a key internal resource for employee benefit questions, enrollments, reconciliations, and retirement-related support.
- Own HRIS-related processes and use system data to produce meaningful insights, answer executive questions, and support business decision-making.
- Partner closely with payroll by reviewing output for accuracy, supporting quality control, and serving as a knowledgeable backup within a complex payroll environment.
- Prepare and analyze large, detailed spreadsheets tied to merit, incentive, compensation, and employee data, ensuring formulas, calculations, and reporting are accurate.
- Coordinate workers' compensation and unemployment-related processes, including gathering information from managers, managing follow-up, and supporting claims administration.
- Lead the Health and Wellness Committee and support related events, communications, and budget-conscious programming.
- Participate on the Health and Safety Committee as an HR representative tied to incident reporting, workplace safety awareness, and follow-up processes.
- Support year-end and cyclical HR processes such as open enrollment, W-2 review/approval, compliance reporting, and benefits data verification.
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
- Experience in HR operations with strong exposure to benefits administration, HRIS management, and payroll-related processes.
- Advanced Excel skills , including comfort working with large data sets, formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and presenting data in a meaningful way.
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now , with the ability to step in already understanding the system at a broad level.
- Strong process orientation and exceptional attention to detail , especially in environments involving complex data, reporting, and compliance-sensitive work.
- Ability to translate raw data into insights , respond to leadership questions, and manage detailed reporting with confidence and accuracy.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills , including the ability to work cross-functionally, follow up persistently, and engage employees and managers across the organization.
