LOCATION
  • On-site 5 days a week in Charlotte, NC
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the day-to-day HR function with oversight of employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, HR operations, and policy execution.
  • Manage and mentor a small HR team, helping drive consistency, development, and strong partnership across the business.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for complex employee relations matters, investigations, performance concerns, and sensitive workplace issues.
  • Oversee benefits operations, vendor relationships, compliance, open enrollment, claims escalations, and broader plan administration.
  • Partner with leadership on HR reporting, systems optimization, compliance initiatives, and process improvements that support a positive and productive employee experience.
 
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • HR leader with strong depth across employee relations, benefits operations, leave administration, compliance, and day-to-day HR leadership.
  • Experience supporting a fast-moving, operationally driven environment where responsiveness, sound judgment, and hands-on problem solving are critical.
  • Background leading or mentoring HR team members while also remaining close to the work and serving as a trusted resource to leaders and employees.
  • Analytical and systems-oriented professional who can use reporting, dashboards, and HR technology to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.  Preferred experience with UKG
  • Someone who brings both professionalism and empathy, with the ability to navigate change, support leaders, and help shape a collaborative and service-focused people function.
