LOCATION
  • Based in Charleston, SC, with regular travel to locations across South Carolina and Florida (approx. 25% travel)

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
  • Facilitates a seamless new hire experience from offer through orientation, ensuring operational readiness

  • Builds strong relationships with General Managers and front-line employees to ensure HR is trusted and accessible

  • Supports investigations and employee relations matters with professionalism and integrity

  • Ensures compliance with I-9s, E-Verify, background screening, and HRIS documentation

  • Delivers HR training, conducts audits, and helps maintain a culture of compliance and accountability


THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • 3–5+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a decentralized or multi-location environment

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with PHR/aPHR certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, compliance, and onboarding workflows

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust across all levels of the organization

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn internal HRIS systems
