What You Will Do
- Lead all core HR operations functions, including weekly payroll, benefits administration, and leave management
- Manage and enhance Paylocity systems and processes for accuracy, reporting, and compliance
- Supervise a Payroll & Benefits Administrator and serve as a subject-matter expert across HR systems
- Oversee certified payroll, prevailing wage reporting, and leave programs including FMLA, ADA, and state-mandated leaves
- Ensure full legal compliance with FLSA, ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and other employment regulations
Background That Fits
- 5+ years of experience in payroll, benefits, and HR operations, preferably in a multi-state or compliance-heavy environment
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Accounting—or equivalent experience
- Proven mastery of Paylocity (required)
- Strong command of federal/state labor laws and experience with certified payroll
- Experience in benefits plan design and broker selection
- Highly organized, discreet, process-driven, and passionate about supporting teams behind the scenes
