LOCATION
- Onsite in Lebanon, Tennessee (greater Nashville area)
- Travel approximately 1–4 times per year for regional HR meetings in the Midwest

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- Serves as the primary HR leader for this division, building a trusted partnership with operations while ensuring sound judgment, legal compliance, and practical, people-centered solutions
- Leads day-to-day employee relations, performance coaching, and sensitive investigations, helping maintain a positive, low-turnover culture in a high-volume warehouse and manufacturing environment
- Acts as the key liaison between the business unit and shared services for payroll, benefits, and compensation, ensuring accurate UKG timekeeping, clean data, and smooth, timely processing for all employees
- Drives foundational and strategic HR initiatives, including validating job descriptions, aligning roles to pay bands, and supporting light org design to position the business for continued growth and scalability
- Provides leadership, direction, and mentorship to the Senior HR Generalist, setting clear standards, reinforcing HR best practices, and elevating the overall effectiveness of the HR function
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- 5+ years of broad-based HR experience, including at least 2–3 years in an HR Manager or HR Generalist role
- Background supporting blue-collar, warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environments with strong exposure to employee relations and full-cycle HR
- Proven success partnering closely with operations leaders, bridging gaps between HR and OPS
- Working knowledge of HR best practices, employment law fundamentals, and HR standards around confidentiality and compliance, with comfort operating in and helping optimize HRIS/payroll/timekeeping systems (UKG experience a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop HR team members, and maintain an approachable, visible presence on the floor.
- Spanish language skills highly preferred but not required
