WHERE IT IS LOCATED
- Hybrid 3 days in office in Hickory area.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support recruiting activity as part of the HR team’s broader talent needs, helping manage hiring activity across the business.
- Handle day-to-day HR operations tied to employee changes, including hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, retirements, and related workflow coordination.
- Partner with managers on employee relations matters, offering thoughtful guidance through policy interpretation and workplace scenarios.
- Influence leaders and stakeholders without direct authority to drive sound people decisions and strengthen HR credibility across the organization.
- Help build employee self-service capabilities and improve the efficiency of HR processes by reducing manual and paper-driven work.
- Document HR systems, processes, and programs to create better structure, consistency, and usability across the function.
- Drive HR program execution and adoption, helping roll out initiatives, communicate changes, and encourage employee participation.
- Contribute to employee engagement and organizational change efforts as the company continues its cultural and operational transformation.
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
- HR generalist or HR business partner experience with the ability to operate across recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Demonstrated strength in employee relations, including sound judgment in navigating sensitive or gray-area situations.
- Proven ability to influence without authority and build credibility with managers, leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively.
- A courageous, execution-oriented approach with the confidence to offer recommendations, challenge ideas when needed, and move work forward.
- Comfort working with senior leaders and people managers, including the ability to provide consultative support and practical guidance.
- Experience with employee engagement and HR program support is important; ADP experience and manufacturing industry background are helpful but not required.
