- Supports organizational transparency and effective decision-making through reporting and analysis
- Strong knowledge of governmental accounting standards (GASB) and experience preparing government financial statements
- Background in public finance, municipal, county, or CPA firm with government audit experience
- Supervisory experience preferred, but strong technical accountants with leadership potential will also be considered
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) required; advanced functions like macros not necessary
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to auditors, stakeholders, and governing boards
