WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- The organization is in the middle of a multi-year cost optimization program with clearly defined savings targets, implementation waves, and executive-level visibility.
- To date, a consulting partner has been leading the program — but that support is rolling off, creating an immediate gap in ownership and continuity.
- The FP&A team is responsible for validating savings, tracking performance against targets, and delivering executive-level reporting. However, bandwidth constraints limit their ability to fully support the initiative while managing ongoing responsibilities.
- Without the right resource in place, there is risk to:
- Accurate tracking and validation of cost savings
- Consistent executive reporting and visibility
- Sustaining momentum across defined implementation waves
- This consultant will step in to provide continuity, ownership, and structure — ensuring the program delivers measurable results and remains on track.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

- Ability to operate as a self-starter, working independently with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to summarize data, insights, and progress for leadership audiences
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Adaptive Insights, Power BI, or similar platforms preferred
- Comfort operating in a project-oriented environment, balancing analytical work with program coordination and stakeholder alignment
