THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

  • A high-growth, private equity-backed organization within the wealth management sector generating several hundred million in annual revenue
  • Operates at the intersection of financial strategy, advisory, and technology, serving an expanding client base with a focus on performance and value creation
  • Currently in a pivotal stage of growth and transformation following the appointment of a new CEO and the launch of strategic planning initiatives to align leadership priorities and compensation philosophy
  • Led by a cohesive executive team including the CEO, CFO, and senior leaders across Wealth Management and Technology
  • Maintains a lean HR infrastructure, creating a strategic opportunity to establish foundational executive compensation capabilities and shape the organization’s total rewards direction
  • Positioned for sustained growth and value realization under private equity ownership, with executive compensation as a key driver of leadership alignment and enterprise performance

WHERE IT IS LOCATED
  • Remote (U.S.) with limited, planned on-site working sessions as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Develop a comprehensive executive compensation philosophy and framework tailored to a private equity-backed wealth management firm
  • Analyze and assess current executive pay structures, including base salary, variable compensation, and equity components
  • Provide market insights and best practices to align executive compensation with industry standards and private equity expectations
  • Collaborate with the CEO and CFO to define guiding principles that drive motivation, retention, and leadership alignment
  • Deliver a well-documented executive compensation framework for board and executive review
  • Advise on the optimal mix of compensation elements considering the firm’s ownership structure and growth trajectory
  • Facilitate iterative reviews and integrate leadership feedback throughout framework development

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
  • Proven expertise in executive compensation strategy, ideally within private equity-backed or growth-oriented organizations
  • Strong understanding of total rewards design and market benchmarks for executive pay
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing executive compensation frameworks and guiding principles
  • Ability to assess equity and incentive structures that align with performance goals and exit strategies
  • Experience collaborating with C-suite leaders to align compensation strategy with enterprise objectives
  • Familiarity with governance and decision-making processes in lean, high-growth environments without formal compensation committees
  • Skilled in producing well-documented compensation frameworks supported by data, insights, and market intelligence
