WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop a comprehensive executive compensation philosophy and framework tailored to a private equity-backed wealth management firm
- Analyze and assess current executive pay structures, including base salary, variable compensation, and equity components
- Provide market insights and best practices to align executive compensation with industry standards and private equity expectations
- Collaborate with the CEO and CFO to define guiding principles that drive motivation, retention, and leadership alignment
- Deliver a well-documented executive compensation framework for board and executive review
- Advise on the optimal mix of compensation elements considering the firm’s ownership structure and growth trajectory
- Facilitate iterative reviews and integrate leadership feedback throughout framework development
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
- Proven expertise in executive compensation strategy, ideally within private equity-backed or growth-oriented organizations
- Strong understanding of total rewards design and market benchmarks for executive pay
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing executive compensation frameworks and guiding principles
- Ability to assess equity and incentive structures that align with performance goals and exit strategies
- Experience collaborating with C-suite leaders to align compensation strategy with enterprise objectives
- Familiarity with governance and decision-making processes in lean, high-growth environments without formal compensation committees
- Skilled in producing well-documented compensation frameworks supported by data, insights, and market intelligence
