WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- The EVP of Financial Services will be responsible for leading and growing our Financial Services vertical with a focus on business development, client engagement, and operational excellence.
- This individual will serve as a key member of the executive team and play a critical role in setting the strategic direction, expanding market presence, and developing innovative talent solutions for our clients in banking, fintech, insurance, and related industries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
Drive revenue growth through targeted business development efforts and strategic partnerships across both existing and targeted financial services industry clients and prospects.
- Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with relevant senior executives, key stakeholders, influencers, and decision-makers within banks, fintech firms, investment institutions, insurance providers, and other financial services organizations.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies that increase brand visibility and expand market share across key geographic and vertical markets.
- Leverage a deep understanding of client needs and industry challenges to craft customized talent solutions that differentiate AccruePartners from competitors.
- Oversee large-scale client engagements in search, solutions and interim staffing and ensure delivery excellence, contributing to long-term client retention and upselling opportunities.
- Represent AccruePartners at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to strengthen brand authority and thought leadership.
Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Financial Services vertical in alignment with company-wide objectives and long-term growth initiatives.
- Partner with executive leadership to develop a scalable vision that supports business expansion, operational efficiency, and service innovation within the financial services sector.
- Analyze industry trends, market data, and competitor activity to proactively adjust strategy and positioning.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, delivery, and operations teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategic priorities.
- Identify opportunities to evolve the business model, enhance client offerings, and integrate new technologies or service lines that drive value.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, emerging industry trends, and underserved market segments to reinforce AccruePartners’ position as a leading provider of staffing and talent solutions within financial services.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and competitive intelligence to uncover growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Develop targeted strategies to enter new sub-sectors such as fintech innovation, wealth management, insurance technology, or regulatory compliance staffing.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor service offerings and marketing campaigns that resonate with niche client segments.
- Foster strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance service capabilities and extend market reach.
- Continuously monitor and adapt to changing regulatory environments and economic conditions impacting the financial services workforce.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in talent, solutions staffing, consulting, or professional services—preferably with a focus on Financial Services clients.
- Proven track record of scaling high-performing divisions by developing go-to-market strategies, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services ecosystem, including key segments such as banking, fintech, asset management, insurance, and related sectors. Strong understanding of the unique talent needs, regulatory challenges, and competitive dynamics affecting these industries, enabling strategic alignment of talent solutions.
- Strong executive presence with proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders. Comfortable representing the company in high-stakes settings, including industry events and client meetings.
- Skilled at creating a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance while fostering collaboration and employee engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree (e.g., Finance, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership) is highly preferred.
