LOCATION
  • South Charlotte, NC – 4 Days a week on-site
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Design and develop robust backend functionality using PHP and Symfony, supporting Oro Commerce (preferred) or Magento environments.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless integrations between eCommerce platforms and enterprise systems (D365 F&O, D365 CE).
  • Customize B2B storefront functionality including pricing models, checkout workflows, and account management capabilities.
  • Manage platform installations, configurations, version upgrades, and production deployments.
  • Develop reusable modules and scalable libraries to support long-term platform growth.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Implement secure coding practices for payment processing and SSL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/SCRUM development cycles and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements.
  • Support database design and management across MariaDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL environments.
HOW YOU WILL QUALIFY
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of eCommerce development experience (Oro Commerce strongly preferred; Magento considered).
  • Strong experience with PHP, Symfony, REST APIs.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations and ERP-connected commerce platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Database experience with MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular preferred).
  • Experience with Docker and modern DevOps practices is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and payment processing environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
