Lead the design and execution of a scalable, preventative safety program across two key sites, with a primary presence at the headquarters location and regular visits to the secondary facility

Translate safety policies and SOPs into consistent frontline practices by engaging teams directly and fostering safe behaviors

Build and lead a high-performing safety team, providing mentorship, clear direction, and performance management

Conduct regular risk assessments, identify hazards, and implement practical, achievable solutions to mitigate them

Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency preparedness, ensuring plans are current and well-communicated

Partner with operational and executive leadership to align safety objectives with business priorities

Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.), ensuring required certifications and training are completed and documented

Track and report safety performance metrics to leadership, using data to drive continuous improvement

Proven ability to improve safety performance and lead culture transformation in operational or industrial environments

Strong background in OSHA 1910/1926 standards, EPA compliance, and risk mitigation strategies
-
5+ years leading occupational health and safety programs, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role
-
Skilled in change management and capable of influencing at all levels of the organization

Excellent communication skills, approachable, engaging, and effective with both frontline employees and executives
-
Experience designing and implementing safety programs, policies, and compliance processes
-
Willingness to be on-site regularly and travel between locations as needed, with the ability to obtain required certifications during tenure
