  • Lead labor planning, forecasting, and scheduling to balance efficiency with service across all store locations.
  • Develop and refine labor standards using time studies, transaction data, and volume drivers.
  • Partner with store, merchandising, and operations teams to streamline in-store processes like stocking, inventory control, and shrink reduction.
  • Implement workforce management tools and dashboards to improve labor performance visibility and decision making.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma practices to reduce costs and increase productivity.

The Background That Fits
  • 8+ years of experience in retail operations, labor management, or workforce planning, in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Strong proficiency with workforce management systems, forecasting, scheduling, and productivity analytics.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs at scale through labor optimization strategies.
  • Knowledge of retail workflows including front-end, perishable departments, center store, and distribution.
  • Experienced in leading cross-functional teams and implementing large-scale operational change.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence executives and train field leadership teams.
