THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

  • A privately held, high-growth, multi-entity platform operating across both services and manufacturing environments.
  • The organization is in the midst of a significant evolution, transitioning from an entrepreneurial, founder-led model into a more scaled and integrated business.
  • Leadership is actively investing in building out shared services across finance, HR, operations, and go-to-market functions, while maintaining distinct brands and business lines.
  • The company is also planning a consolidation of operations into a centralized North Carolina headquarters as part of its next phase of growth.

WHAT THEY OFFER YOU

  • Opportunity to build and lead the Human Capital function from the ground up within a growing, multi-entity organization
  • Direct partnership with executive leadership and ownership to shape the future of the business
  • Highly visible role driving organizational design, workforce strategy, and culture during a period of transformation
  • Dynamic, evolving environment with strong leadership support and investment in growth

LOCATION

  • Mooresville, NC

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • This is not a traditional HR leadership role. The organization is undergoing significant transformation - implementing new systems, integrating multiple business units, and preparing for future growth and potential acquisitions.
  • The VP of HR will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, responsible for designing and building the organization for scale. This includes leading change management through relocation and integration, establishing career frameworks to retain and develop talent, and creating the infrastructure needed to support a more complex and growing business.
  • The role will also shift the organization away from a reactive HR model toward one that empowers leaders, builds management capability, and embeds accountability within the business.
  • Success in this role will directly impact retention, engagement, and the company’s ability to scale effectively over the next several years.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Proven experience in organizational design, human capital strategy, and workforce planning within a multi-entity or evolving environment
  • Track record of leading change management initiatives, ideally including relocation, consolidation, or rapid scaling
  • Ability to build HR infrastructure, career frameworks, and talent strategies from the ground up
  • Experience operating as a strategic partner to executive leadership while also executing tactically when needed
  • Strong leadership development mindset with the ability to coach and empower managers to own employee engagement and performance
  • Background in entrepreneurial, privately held, or high-growth environments preferred
  • Comfortable operating in a fluid, less structured environment while bringing appropriate structure and discipline over time
