WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

Deliver instructor-led and virtual safety training to customers across a variety of equipment and workplace safety topics
-
Conduct equipment operator certification training covering areas such as MEWPs, forklifts, and earth-moving equipment
-
Provide private customer training sessions at company locations and customer job sites while maintaining accurate certification and training records
-
Support the growth of the safety training business by partnering with sales teams, identifying customer needs, and helping close training opportunities
-
Coach and mentor Certified Evaluators while supporting the onboarding and development of new safety trainers and internal evaluators
-
Serve as a trusted safety resource to customers and employees regarding equipment operation, safety standards, and industry best practices
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
-
5+ years of relevant experience within equipment operations, safety, training, construction, rental, industrial, or a related environment
-
Hands-on heavy equipment experience with certifications involving equipment such as MEWPs, forklifts, and earth-moving equipment
-
Strong understanding of workplace and equipment safety standards, regulations, and operating practices
-
Experience delivering instructor-led training with an understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to engage different audiences
-
Customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach with strong organization, communication, and self-management skills
-
Comfortable traveling throughout the assigned territory and conducting training in both classroom and hands-on field environments
-
Experience working with Learning Management Systems is preferred, with bilingual French capabilities considered a plus
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
