WHERE THIS ROLE SITS

  • Onsite, 5x a week in Charlotte, NC
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Track the financial lifecycle of complex customer projects from initial order through final delivery

  • Analyze projected versus actual costs and investigate the drivers behind margin variances

  • Support customer billing, revenue recognition, cost tracking, and financial forecasting

  • Reconcile inventory and help drive inventory accuracy across the business

  • Track project-related costs and ensure financial activity is recorded accurately

  • Support month-end close through reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis

  • Serve as an important connection point between Project Management, Operations, and Accounting

A BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • 1+ years of accounting experience, with entry-level candidates with strong relevant experience also considered

  • Manufacturing experience is ideal, with supply chain or distribution backgrounds also worth considering

  • Exposure to cost accounting, inventory, project accounting, billing, reconciliations, or month-end close

  • Strong Excel skills with an analytical and detail-oriented mindset

  • ERP experience is a plus, but not required

  • Strong communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally, solving discrepancies, and understanding the story behind the numbers
