WHERE THIS ROLE SITS:
  • Onsite in South Charlotte (full-time, onsite)

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Assist in collecting, tracking, and analyzing production, labor, material, and overhead costs
  • Support the preparation of cost reports, variance analyses, and margin calculations
  • Help maintain inventory records and assist with inventory valuations and reconciliations
  • Participate in month-end close activities related to cost accounting
  • Assist with standard cost updates and basic variance explanations
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with cost-related data
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and accounting teams to ensure accurate data entry
  • Maintain organized documentation for audits and internal reporting
  • Follow company policies and accounting standards (GAAP)

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Required)
  • Basic understanding of accounting and cost concepts
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Willingness to learn new accounting software or ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a finance environment
