WHERE THIS ROLE SITS:
- Onsite in South Charlotte (full-time, onsite)
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Assist in collecting, tracking, and analyzing production, labor, material, and overhead costs
- Support the preparation of cost reports, variance analyses, and margin calculations
- Help maintain inventory records and assist with inventory valuations and reconciliations
- Participate in month-end close activities related to cost accounting
- Assist with standard cost updates and basic variance explanations
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with cost-related data
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and accounting teams to ensure accurate data entry
- Maintain organized documentation for audits and internal reporting
- Follow company policies and accounting standards (GAAP)
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Required)
- Basic understanding of accounting and cost concepts
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to learn new accounting software or ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a finance environment
