WHERE IT IS LOCATED
- Hybrid in South Park area of Charlotte
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Review and analyze contracts to identify key terms, potential risks, and red flags; provide first-pass assessments and recommendations before escalation to leadership
- Support litigation matters by assisting with customer injury and property damage claims, including document organization, case tracking, and responding to lawsuits
- Maintain corporate governance documentation including board minutes, meeting records, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements
- Manage corporate entities and structure across multiple subsidiary companies under the parent organization, including tracking business licenses, formation documents, and maintaining organized records
- Handle ad hoc legal support including emerging M&A transactions, general compliance matters, and providing daily operational assistance to the legal team
- Perform notary services as needed for company documents and transactions
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience in a legal support/compliance role
- Demonstrated proficiency in contract drafting, review, and ability to identify key issues and potential red flags
- Experience or exposure to litigation matters and litigation support
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems or similar legal technology platforms
- Knowledge of corporate governance, board administration, and management of complex corporate structures
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and corporate documentation requirements
- Exposure to M&A is highly preferred
- Notary Public credentials or willingness to obtain them (preferred, not required)
