THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Current controller or senior accounting leader who has already owned a meaningful accounting function.
  • Private equity-backed, sponsor-owned, acquisitive, or high-growth middle-market company experience.
  • Service industry background is strongly preferred.
  • Multi-site operating experience is required.
  • Exposure to WIP, project accounting, job costing, or similar operational accounting environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership ability paired with a willingness to remain hands-on in the work.
  • A track record of improving close processes, reporting cadence, controls, reconciliations, and accounting operations.
  • Comfort working in a lean environment where priorities shift and the business needs a practical, solutions-oriented accounting leader.
  • The credibility to partner directly with a CFO and executive team while earning trust with the accounting team through execution.
