THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

• You will be joining AccruePartners’ Project Solutions practice and supporting a leading renewable energy organization undergoing a complex accounting stabilization and finance transformation initiative following a recent NetSuite ERP go-live.
• The organization is actively working through audit remediation, operational accounting stabilization, and broader system enhancement efforts while simultaneously preparing for additional platform modernization tied to revenue and trading operations.
• The accounting organization is operating in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment with evolving processes, compressed close timelines, and significant focus on improving operational consistency across cash, intercompany, and close activities.
• Leadership is seeking hands-on corporate accounting consultants who can immediately contribute within an execution-focused environment requiring both technical accounting discipline and operational accounting support.

LOCATION

• Charlotte, NC preferred with strong preference for consultants able to work onsite and closely alongside accounting leadership and operational teams.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

• The client is operating within a fixed 4-calendar-day close while simultaneously managing ongoing audit remediation efforts, ERP enhancements, and broader accounting process stabilization initiatives.
• The accounting organization requires immediate hands-on support to help stabilize core accounting operations across close, cash visibility, intercompany accounting, and operational accounting execution within a multi-entity environment.
• This is not an advisory engagement. The consultant must be capable of rolling up their sleeves and contributing immediately across close execution, reconciliations, accruals, prepaid accounting, cash analysis, and intercompany accounting support while helping improve consistency and clarity across evolving accounting processes.
• The ideal consultant will have experience operating successfully within transformation-oriented environments where processes are still being built and formalized, rather than solely supporting mature accounting organizations.
• Strong execution capability, attention to detail, and comfort operating in fast-moving environments with minimal onboarding will be critical for success.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

• Strong hands-on Corporate Accounting experience within complex, multi-entity environments
• Proven experience supporting month-end close execution within compressed close timelines, ideally supporting a 4-day close
• Strong cash accounting experience across multiple legal entities
• Direct intercompany accounting experience
• Experience supporting accruals, prepaid expenses, accounts payable, and operational close accounting activities
• Exposure to ERP implementations, system enhancements, or accounting transformation initiatives (NetSuite preferred)
• Experience operating within evolving or immature process environments requiring documentation and process formalization
• Ability to contribute immediately with minimal onboarding and operate effectively within execution-focused environments
• Strong understanding of accounting operations and close support within complex organizational structures
• Renewable energy, utilities, or broader energy industry experience preferred
