WHERE IT IS LOCATED
- On-site in the greater Charlotte area
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead the month-end close process, establishing structure, accountability, and consistency across financial reporting.
- Build and enhance accounting processes and controls from the ground up to support a scalable environment.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations while remaining hands-on in key areas of the function.
- Partner across teams to drive alignment, improve reporting accuracy, and ensure deadlines are met across locations.
- Identify gaps in processes or compliance and implement solutions to strengthen the overall accounting function.
- Support accounting related to financing, leases, and other operational complexities as the business scales.
- Contribute to the future buildout of the accounting team, including evaluating structure and resource needs.
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Strong foundation in accounting with the ability to bring structure and discipline to a growing environment.
- Proven experience building or improving accounting processes, controls, and procedures.
- Hands-on leadership experience with the ability to own the accounting function while working in the details.
- Background in high-volume or operationally complex environments is preferred.
- Exposure to areas such as sales tax, compliance, or financing-related accounting is a plus.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities may shift.
