WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Supports and executes Lean continuous improvement roadmap aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Develops and executes Kaizen events, enterprise projects, A3 problem solving, and quarterly reviews to review performance metrics.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collect and analyze data to provide valuable insights, generate reports and present findings to aid decision-making.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the execution of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and within scope.
  • Support troubleshooting of operations, processes, and equipment to minimize losses and improve stability.
  • Promote and manage the use of Lean tools - 5S, SMED, standard work, visual workplace time studies, and training across base operating facilities.
  • Manage and execute improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
  • Analyze and prioritize improvement initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and present progress reports, performance data, and project outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders to share best practices and standardize processes across sites.
  • Support benchmarking activities and sustainability efforts to enhance organizational performance and environmental impact.
  • Takes part in the day-to-day collaboration and engagement with the M&E and IT teams.
  • Manage and coordinate required reviews by process owners for Roles, Permissions, Users, and compliance of technology solutions.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Aeronautical, Quantitative, Business Discipline, or Engineering or Engineering Technology.
  • Certification in Project Management, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), AME/SME/Shingo Lean Bronze/Silver, or other Lean certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, aviation MRO, logistics, manufacturing, Technology, or process optimization.
  • Tableau and/or Microsoft Power Platform development.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management and/or process improvement with proven ability to lead change through both direct and indirect influencing abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and performance in Lean activities.
