THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

  • This engagement sits within a division undergoing leadership transition and operational recalibration. Internal teams require additional execution support to ensure day-to-day trust administration, reporting, and compliance responsibilities are performed with precision while leadership focuses on broader organizational priorities.

  • The client requires experienced Trust & Wealth operations professionals who can step in immediately and ensure critical administrative, transactional, and compliance functions are executed properly.
  • Leadership is seeking an experienced professional who understands fiduciary environments and can stabilize workflows, reinforce controls, and maintain operational discipline while internal leadership focuses on broader organizational priorities.
  • This role plays a key part in ensuring trust operations, reporting, and documentation standards remain compliant, audit-ready, and consistent across active accounts and portfolios.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Provide hands-on operational support across trust administration and wealth operations functions
  • Execute account lifecycle activities including openings, maintenance, transfers, and closures
  • Process transactions, settlements, distributions, and cash movements
  • Perform account reconciliations and validate financial accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with trust documents, fiduciary standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Support preparation of beneficiary reporting, account reviews, and financial statements
  • Maintain documentation integrity and audit readiness
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Operations, Compliance, Finance, and client-facing teams
  • Support physical and digital asset tracking processes as required
  • Document procedures and capture institutional knowledge from existing workflows
  • Identify workflow gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen operational efficiency and controls

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
  • Deep hands-on experience in Trust Operations, Wealth Operations, or Fiduciary Administration environments required
  • Strong understanding of trust account structures, lifecycle management, and transactional workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently in fast-paced, accuracy-critical environments
  • Experience supporting reconciliations, reporting, and operational validation processes
  • Working knowledge of fiduciary compliance standards and regulatory expectations
  • Experience stabilizing processes or supporting transitions within operational teams highly valued
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, compliance, finance, and client-facing teams
  • Experience with trust platforms such as FIS Trust Desk strongly preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as CTFA, CFP, CPA, or securities licenses are valued but not required

ENGAGEMENT DETAILS
  • Engagement Type: Consulting (W2)
  • Duration: 4–6 months
  • Locations: Charlotte, Atlanta, or Dallas
  • Travel: Required; Frequent to Little Rock, AR. Client preference is consistent in-office presence during workwork. 
    • Travel is billable to client
