WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

Manages the full lifecycle of Town facility construction projects—from initial planning and design to final inspection

Coordinates with consultants, contractors, and Town departments to ensure alignment and project success

Leads project documentation, RFPs, RFQs, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance reviews
-
Acts as the single point of contact for stakeholders and maintains progress reporting across departments

Performs site inspections, verifies pay applications, and ensures quality execution and regulatory adherence
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
-
5–7+ years of hands-on experience in construction, project management, or municipal capital improvements
-
Strong working knowledge of building codes, public procurement, and construction documentation
-
Proficiency in tools like Procore, CAD, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office
-
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred
-
Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to lead meetings, navigate change, and work cross-functionally
