  • Based in Mooresville, NC with regular site visits to active construction and renovation projects

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
  • Manages the full lifecycle of Town facility construction projects—from initial planning and design to final inspection

  • Coordinates with consultants, contractors, and Town departments to ensure alignment and project success

  • Leads project documentation, RFPs, RFQs, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance reviews

  • Acts as the single point of contact for stakeholders and maintains progress reporting across departments

  • Performs site inspections, verifies pay applications, and ensures quality execution and regulatory adherence


THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in construction, project management, or municipal capital improvements

  • Strong working knowledge of building codes, public procurement, and construction documentation

  • Proficiency in tools like Procore, CAD, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred

  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to lead meetings, navigate change, and work cross-functionally
