THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING
  • AccruePartners Project Solutions, a consulting practice delivering high-impact talent to solve complex business and operational challenges across enterprise organizations
  • A global manufacturing organization with U.S. operations based in the Charlotte market, operating a production facility and corporate office environment
  • A leadership team including the CFO, President, and Plant leadership, focused on executing critical facility investments while maintaining operational continuity
  • An organization experiencing growth and capacity constraints, requiring dedicated project leadership to oversee multiple concurrent capital initiatives

WHAT WE OFFER YOU
  • High-impact, 9-month consulting engagement overseeing two concurrent construction projects with a combined budget of ~$4M
  • Direct visibility and interaction with executive leadership, including CFO and President, with clear escalation paths and decision-making structure
  • Opportunity to operate as the client-side project lead, ensuring timelines, budgets, and vendor performance are aligned with business objectives
  • Defined scope with immediate need, allowing you to step in during pre-construction and drive execution through completion
  • Full-time engagement with consistent schedule and on-site presence, enabling hands-on leadership and real-time decision making

LOCATION
  • On-site – Newton, NC (greater Charlotte market)

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
  • The organization is executing two critical initiatives simultaneously: a production facility expansion and a corporate office renovation. Both projects are entering the construction phase and will be led by an external general contractor.
  • Without dedicated internal project leadership, the organization faces risk across timeline adherence, budget control, and coordination between construction activity and ongoing operations.
  • This consultant will serve as the client-side project lead, ensuring both projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to business needs, while holding external vendors accountable and providing clear visibility to leadership.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or Owner’s Representative overseeing commercial or industrial projects
  • Strong understanding of construction lifecycle, including pre-construction, scheduling, budgeting, and vendor management
  • Experience managing and holding general contractors accountable for delivery, timelines, and cost control
  • Ability to operate in a client-side oversight role, balancing governance, stakeholder communication, and escalation management
  • Comfort working on-site in a hands-on environment with early start times aligned to construction schedules
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to interface with executive leadership and operational teams
