The Details:
  • Hybrid - 4 days on-site in Charlotte
 
Responsibilities:
  • Execute compensation-related tasks including market grading, job description grading, and salary surveys.
  • Develop and maintain compensation guidelines and promotional guidelines to support pay practices.
  • Assist in building foundational compensation structures that will feed into job architecture development.
  • Recommend tools or systems for market pricing and compensation management as needed.
  • Support merit cycle processes and pay structure modeling.
  • Prepare and organize compensation data for internal use and eventual presentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and business leaders to align compensation practices.
 
Background That Fits:
  • Experience in compensation execution, including market grading, job description grading, and foundational compensation tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented and process-driven approach.
  • Understanding of broad-based compensation programs, with some knowledge of variable compensation.
  • Ability to work with multi-site, geographically dispersed employee populations and adjust compensation practices accordingly.
  • Prior experience in job evaluation, salary surveys, pay structure modeling, and merit cycle support.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where compensation processes and systems are being built from the ground up.
