LOCATION:
  • Charlotte, NC
  • Hybrid schedule — at least 2 days onsite per week

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Help complete the migration of core data warehouse into Microsoft Fabric.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Support data pipelines, ETL processes, data transformation, and data modeling within the Microsoft data environment.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and turn business questions into clear dashboards, reports, and insights.
  • Improve reporting accuracy, data quality, and visibility across sales, operations, leadership, and other business areas.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to work more efficiently, automate where possible, and help surface stronger insights from business data.
  • Remain hands-on — this role is not just architecture; the team needs someone willing to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience is required.
  • Strong Power BI experience, including dashboard development, reporting, and data visualization.
  • Experience with data pipelines, ETL, data transformation, and data modeling.
  • Ability to work directly with business stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate needs into reporting and insight.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, accelerate development, and support better business outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A flexible, hands-on mindset and interest in modern data, BI, and AI-enabled analytics.

NICE TO HAVE:
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central familiarity
  • Jet Data Manager experience
  • Microsoft Copilot / AI agent experience
  • MCP server exposure
  • B2B eCommerce data exposure
  • Row-level security / permissioning experience
  • Distribution, product, inventory, sales, or operations analytics experience
  • Experience supporting reporting migrations or data warehouse modernization initiatives
