  • Ability to influence how the Business Analysis practice operates and matures across the organization
  • Exposure to multiple enterprise platforms spanning field operations, workforce management, fleet, finance, HR, asset management, and other critical business functions
  • Opportunity to lead discovery and requirements efforts rather than simply receive requirements from the business

  • Map current-state and future-state processes across planning, estimating, scheduling, dispatching, field execution, inspection, closeout, billing, and reporting
  • Lead requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and cross-functional workshops
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, use cases, process maps, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation
  • Develop test scenarios, test cases, validation plans, and Requirements Traceability Matrices while supporting UAT and end-user readiness
  • Serve as a functional SME for enterprise applications and help expand platform capabilities across additional business units and workflows
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve data quality, optimize workflows, and increase workforce and asset utilization
  • Support vendor evaluations, RFPs, product demonstrations, fit-gap analysis, and technology selection
  • Partner with project managers, architects, developers, vendors, and operational leaders throughout the full project lifecycle
  • Support both Agile and Waterfall environments while helping establish consistent Business Analysis practices and documentation standards
  • Mentor other analysts, contractors, and business stakeholders on effective Business Analysis methodologies

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting complex technology or enterprise application initiatives
  • Strong experience working between operational business teams and IT, with the ability to understand how work actually gets performed and translate that into technology requirements
  • Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as ERP, EAM, HCM, CRM, fleet management, field service management, workforce management, or similar systems
  • Strong process-mapping and requirements documentation experience, including current-state/future-state workflows, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, test cases, and RTMs
  • Experience leading workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders ranging from frontline operational teams through senior leadership
  • Background supporting large-scale transformation, system implementation, integration, or process improvement initiatives
  • Experience within utilities, energy, construction, engineering, telecommunications, infrastructure services, or another field-service-intensive environment is highly preferred
