IT BUSINESS ANALYST
THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING
- Join the IT organization of a large, established company supporting complex, multi-location operations
- Be part of a technology team focused on modernizing enterprise systems, improving business processes, and increasing operational efficiency
- Partner with stakeholders across multiple corporate and operational functions on highly visible technology initiatives
- Work within a growing Business Analysis function focused on strengthening standards, processes, and best practices across the organization
- Collaborate closely with project management, architecture, development, application, and business leadership teams

- Fort Mill, SC - Onsite 5 days per week

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Serve as the bridge between business operations and technology teams for strategic enterprise initiatives
- Partner directly with leaders across Operations, Construction, Field Services, Fleet, Engineering, Finance, HR, Safety, and Shared Services to identify business challenges and improvement opportunities
- Map current-state and future-state processes across planning, estimating, scheduling, dispatching, field execution, inspection, closeout, billing, and reporting
- Lead requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and cross-functional workshops
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, use cases, process maps, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation
- Develop test scenarios, test cases, validation plans, and Requirements Traceability Matrices while supporting UAT and end-user readiness
- Serve as a functional SME for enterprise applications and help expand platform capabilities across additional business units and workflows
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve data quality, optimize workflows, and increase workforce and asset utilization
- Support vendor evaluations, RFPs, product demonstrations, fit-gap analysis, and technology selection
- Partner with project managers, architects, developers, vendors, and operational leaders throughout the full project lifecycle
- Support both Agile and Waterfall environments while helping establish consistent Business Analysis practices and documentation standards
- Mentor other analysts, contractors, and business stakeholders on effective Business Analysis methodologies
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting complex technology or enterprise application initiatives
- Strong experience working between operational business teams and IT, with the ability to understand how work actually gets performed and translate that into technology requirements
- Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as ERP, EAM, HCM, CRM, fleet management, field service management, workforce management, or similar systems
- Strong process-mapping and requirements documentation experience, including current-state/future-state workflows, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, test cases, and RTMs
- Experience leading workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders ranging from frontline operational teams through senior leadership
- Background supporting large-scale transformation, system implementation, integration, or process improvement initiatives
- Experience within utilities, energy, construction, engineering, telecommunications, infrastructure services, or another field-service-intensive environment is highly preferred
- Exposure to operational areas such as scheduling, dispatching, workforce or crew management, field execution, fleet, asset management, safety, or project delivery is especially valuable
- Familiarity with enterprise cloud platforms and integration environments such as Oracle Fusion, Oracle Integration Cloud, or comparable technologies is a plus
- Experience with Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud, JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar tools is beneficial
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, Agile, Oracle, or Microsoft certifications are valued but not required
