WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- This role will support the Corporate Controller in managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls.
- The Assistant Corporate Controller will help ensure financial statements are accurate, timely, and aligned with GAAP and internal accounting standards.
- This person will play a key role in reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, and reporting packages.
- The role will partner cross-functionally to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and support better visibility across the business.
- This individual will help lead, coach, and develop accounting team members while driving accountability and consistency across core accounting activities.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- Strong accounting leadership experience, ideally within a corporate accounting, controllership, assistant controller, or accounting manager capacity.
- Solid understanding of GAAP, month-end close, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, accruals, and internal controls.
- Experience reviewing work, leading accounting processes, and supporting timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and business leaders while translating accounting details into clear business context.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working within ERP/accounting systems.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven, with the ability to balance hands-on execution and team leadership.
- A steady, collaborative communicator who brings ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement to the accounting function.
