WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Involvement in most aspects of the organization and interaction with all related entities
  • Focus on managing Accounts Payable using AvidXchange and RealPage
  • Influence vendor relationships, financial accuracy, and operational efficiency
  • Serve as key liaison between corporate office and properties
  • Resolve vendor issues and support property staff in day-to-day tasks
  • Ensure accurate financial documentation and compliance
  • Assist with recurring responsibilities such as electronic check runs, auto-pay transactions, petty cash processing, Vendor W-9s and COIs.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • 4-5+ years of accounting/accounts payable experience required
  • Experience with AvidXchange and/or RealPage preferred
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and own responsibilities
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proactive and collaborative problem-solving approach
  • Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy
  • Experience in property management or nonprofit housing is a plus
