WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
- Involvement in most aspects of the organization and interaction with all related entities
- Focus on managing Accounts Payable using AvidXchange and RealPage
- Influence vendor relationships, financial accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Serve as key liaison between corporate office and properties
- Resolve vendor issues and support property staff in day-to-day tasks
- Ensure accurate financial documentation and compliance
- Assist with recurring responsibilities such as electronic check runs, auto-pay transactions, petty cash processing, Vendor W-9s and COIs.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- 4-5+ years of accounting/accounts payable experience required
- Experience with AvidXchange and/or RealPage preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and own responsibilities
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proactive and collaborative problem-solving approach
- Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy
- Experience in property management or nonprofit housing is a plus
