WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Serve as a strategic accounting leader responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across core accounting functions.
- Lead and develop the accounting team, providing hands-on guidance in areas such as accounts payable, credit and collections, and general ledger management.
- Drive efficiency and consistency in accounting processes, improving reporting accuracy and workflow optimization through structure and accountability.
- Partner with business and finance leadership to deliver accurate and actionable financial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, division-level reporting, and account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities, contributing to the organization’s broader financial planning and performance objectives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure effective communication and alignment between accounting, operations, and management teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance the accuracy, transparency, and scalability of financial operations.
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
- Experienced accounting manager with a record of leading accounting operations and team performance in dynamic, multi-entity environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, and financial reporting, with proven ability to ensure compliance and maintain integrity of financial data.
- ???????Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close, while driving continuous improvement.
- Skilled in financial analysis and decision support, able to translate accounting data into insights that guide business performance.
- Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems, with experience in Great Plains, SAP, or comparable systems preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to mentor teams and collaborate effectively across departments.
