WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
- Ensures continuity and stability in critical areas of the accounting function during a leadership absence
- Direct responsibility for managing all AP tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness alongside an AP specialist
- Accountability for maintaining audit readiness, including an upcoming pre-audit in October and year-end audit beginning January with a March submission deadline
- Safeguards the organization’s ability to consistently achieve timely month-end close cycles
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- Experienced accounting professional with proven ability to manage audits and month-end close cycles
- Hands-on AP oversight experience, capable of leading daily task execution without formal people management responsibilities
- Strong systems aptitude; prior SAP or Tipalti exposure a plus, but not required
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze, manage, and report financial data effectively
- Immediately available to start, and open to a 7-month contract commitment
