WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Support the Controller in managing day-to-day accounting for multiple single-purpose real estate entities.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations, cash management, intercompany transactions, and trust accounts.
  • Help process development and property invoices, rent payments, and CAM reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, general ledgers, and variance reports.
  • Work on construction loan accounting, bank draws, and capital funding support.
  • Collaborate with property management and development teams on financial reporting and reconciliations.
  • Handle confidential information related to ownership’s personal and family office finances.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  •  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience (real estate, construction, or property management preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Would be great if you had experience with Excel, QuickBooks, and MRI.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working onsite every day and managing multiple entities and accounts.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential financial information.
