- Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger processes across areas such as payroll, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting cycles.
- Oversee monthly and annual close activities, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and ensuring timely, accurate financial results in accordance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Drive month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis, delivering timely and accurate financial results.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and external regulatory standards, supporting audits and enhancing accounting procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support audits, improve processes, and maintain compliance with internal controls and financial regulations (e.g., SOX).
- Develop and mentor team members, support budget preparation, and manage ad hoc financial projects as needed.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Brings over two years of leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams and overseeing financial operations in fast-paced settings.
