WHERE IT IS LOCATED
  • On-site, five days per week in the Charlotte area
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Lead and coordinate financial planning, budgeting, and day-to-day accounting operations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Manage cash flow, track expenses, and oversee core accounting functions including receivables and payables.
  • Prepare financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decisions and business growth.
  • Develop an understanding of operations to support cost accounting and profitability analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain awareness of relevant regulations.
  • Establish and improve processes, systems, and procedures to support scalability and efficiency.
  • Serve as a key partner to leadership, contributing to planning and decision-making.
  • Support people-related processes including onboarding, payroll coordination, and maintaining a pulse on company culture.
  • Help build structure across both finance and administrative functions as the organization grows.
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
  • Ability to manage full-cycle accounting and understand overall financial performance.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Comfortable operating in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment with broad responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to take ownership, build structure, and improve processes without direct authority.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively across the organization.
  • Interest or experience in supporting HR or office-related functions is a plus.
  • Motivated by growth opportunities and interested in evolving into a larger leadership role over time.
