The position is fully on-site at the company’s office located in Stallings, North Carolina,
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Manage and process accounts payable invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry
- Maintain and update general ledger entries with a clear understanding of their impact on the company
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and manage financial files and reports
- Collaborate closely with the controller and accounting team to support financial operations
- Hit the ground running with minimal training, demonstrating at least 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Support the accounting department in a small business manufacturing environment, adapting to varied office tasks as needed
- Participate in initial interviews and screening processes as required, reporting directly to the controller
- Work on-site daily at the Stallings, NC location, maintaining consistent presence and availability
- Minimum of two to three years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on accounts payable (AP)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, capable of creating and managing complex spreadsheets independently
- College graduate with a solid understanding of general ledger (GL) accounting principles and practices
- Ability to make accurate entries into the general ledger and understand the impact of accounting tasks on the company
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment or similar industry preferred
- Self-motivated and capable of hitting the ground running in a small accounting team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of AP invoice entries daily
